Sometimes a rainstorm can leave you with the most beautiful, dramatic sky afterward. Here is one of them! What I love about this photo, aside from the dreamy storm clouds, is the fact you can see the rooftop of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, just beyond the reservoir, nestled in the trees of Central Park. To the right of that you can see the tip of the Obelisk - AKA Cleopatra's Needle, sticking out from the trees, and just to the right of the needle you can see Belvedere Castle. That massively tall, skinny building in the distance is the tallest residential building in NYC, 111 West 57th, also known as the Steinway Building, and to the right of that you can see The Edge (the building that looks like it has a beak) at 30 Hudson Yards, that has the highest sky deck in the Western Hemisphere! Captured May 11th, 2020 at 4:55 pm.
